I suspect that the first line is some kind of expression, but I can't be sure what they meant.

Which can be adapted with the sense of (maybe): to waste. (?)

In the dictionary it also has the sense of “a burning feeling” (2. to burn with (emotion, feeling); to be fired up)

指 先 だ け で 見 る (yubisaki dake de miru) = See only with the fingertips

Which can be adapted with the sense of (maybe): seeing without details; see like a blind one ??; seeing without seeing; see superficially (without the whole hand, only with the fingertips ??); see with the body ?;

Perhaps something in the sense of:
