I was thinking of this weird verse, I found in >this site< another person who also translated this song explaining that 頑張る (ganbaru) is used for things that a person has to do alone, so it can be something like "Now I'm going to try my best on my own/alone". I'm not too sure that this word works like this, so I preferred not to adapt the translation and leave that note here, but in the context it makes a lot of sense.
