Not sure if this need an explanation in english, but let’s go:

I spent about 84 years reflecting on what "a plain" is related with this song… When I was almost giving up I noticed that, according to jisho.org, one of the meanings of ありのまま (ari no mama) is "bare plain" (the truth; fact; as it is; as you are; frank; *bare plain*). I don’t know what one thing has to do with the other (I’m not that fluent in english and japanese at all), but I'm grateful to the boys for using the song title 98 times inside the song so I had the chance to understand.

Now we know what they were (probably) thinking when they titled the song we can see that the title meaning is something like "the way you are" or "the way you really are" or similar.
