hikarabite fumi tsubusareru no nara semete anata ni
I want you to stay next to a beautiful flower
kirei na hana no tonari demo ii soba ni itai desu (↑↓)
even if it is withered or trampled
sachi usuku tanmei kawaru koto nado nai
I had little luck in this short life, but this will not change

the love, the simple love that I feel for you...

You used to care about me, always caressing me

in days with no rain, I received water to live strongly

you disappeared without my realizing, and I bloomed in vain again

kareru dake no hana ni kureru mizu nado nai
There's no water that can be gave to a withered flower
kusaru dake no hana ni sosogu hikari nado nai
There's no light that can shine over a rotten flower
tada shiki ni obienagara yami no naka haizuri mawaru
I'm just crawling in the dark afraid of death
ima hikari wo sagashinagara yami no naka haizuri mawaru
I'm just crawling in the dark, searching for a light

dareka watashi ni doujou suru no nara totemo kirei na hana wo
if someone feel pity for me, beautiful flowers will bloom
dare ni demo aisareru you na sonzai ni naritai
I want to be someone who people can love

kareru minikuki hana ni kureru mizu nado nai
There's no water that can be gave to a withered flower
kusaru dake no hana wa tsubomi sura nokosezu
There's no light that can shine over a rotten flower

me no mae wa yami ni fusagare mogaku watashi wo tsubusu
Everything in front of me is covered by darkness, smashing my fighter-side
anata nara anata dattara
if you, if you
koko kara tasukete kureru to omotteita
I thought that I could help you from here
soumatou no naka de naiteta
Inside this revolving lantern², I cry.
anata ga kureta kanshoku wa
The feelings you gave me
yoku ga unda yume na no ka
was just the beginning of an egoist dream?
wakaranu mama jiki ni kusaru
I'm rotting without knowing the answer.

Translator notes:

¹ "Language of the flowers, sometimes called floriography, was a Victorian-era way of communication in which sending flowers and floral arrangements were used to send coded messages, allowing people to express feelings that otherwise could not be said."

² 走馬灯(soumatou) are those lampshades, usually for children, that have images and revolve (making drawings in the shadows).
It is a word attributed to the "light" that we see at the time of death, as it is a lamp that shows images in the shadows, it is like the "movie" they say we see at the time of death.
