Translators notes:

¹ “百鬼夜行” is not literally “pandemonium” as I translated, in the dictionary (rikai kun) it is: “many monsters, spirits, etc. forming a line and walking through the night large number of people plotting and doing evil;” “Hyakki Yagyou” writes with the words “百鬼 ” (hundred) and “夜行 ” (walking around at night). Witch is basically a “pandemonium”.

²  “援交” (enkou) is not literally “whoring”, in dict it is “date with compensation” I adapted to sound better.

ABOUT THE SONG: The purification ceremony seems to be a simple metaphor for a show, and people with torches in their hands are probably the audience with the cellphone recording the show (and shows usually happen at night). From this perspective it is easy to understand the rest of the song, as usual for this band, some criticism of the visual kei scene itself.
